Automated user signup, onboarding, and feedback collection processes for a Digital Droduct using no-code tools like Notion, Tally, and Zapier, leading to a scallable and efficient workflow.
The system automated all tedious manual operations, allowing those processes to run on autopilot.
Automating User Onboarding and Feedback with No-Code Tools
Problem
The company needed a fast and efficient way to send out both free (lead-magnet) and paid versions of the digital product, request feedback, and collect submissions from users. Doing it manually was too tedious and brought down the user experience a lot (users expect to receive a product once they click a confirmation button).
Solution
A website-connected no-code automation system was built using Notion, an email provider, Tally, and Zapier.
When a user signs up for the free version, an automated sequence is triggered.
Users initially receive a link to the product template and instructions.
After a set time, they receive additional information and a request for feedback.
For users who purchase a product via Payhip, a similar sequence is initiated, tailored with technical information and more detailed feedback requests.
Once feedback is submitted, it finds and connects the submission to the user.
Results
Implementing the automation system led to significant improvements:
Instant lead magnet sent-outs.
Feedback is requested and collected automatically via Tally and stored in Notion with all relevant fields auto-populated.
The system automatically stops sending feedback requests to users once their feedback is received, based on matching email addresses.
All user information and feedback are interconnected in the database, allowing for easy tracking and the potential to build new functions on top of the existing data structure.
Overall, this system fully supports digital products business and allows it to run on autopilot.
